Mr. B. L. Mengade
This SSI unit was founded by Mr. B. L. Mengade in the year 1989 to manufacture various types of Transformers and Coils in order to meet the requirements of Electronics Industry in Pune. With initial thrust and dedicated quality work, Traffo Electronics entered into regular supplies to the UPS manufacturers in Pune In the year 1994, Traffo Electronics was recognised as a "Small Scale Industrial Unit".

It started catering to the corporate sector in consumer electronics, such as Philips India Ltd. (in 1995) and Kalyani Sharp India Ltd (in 1998). In keeping with times, the changing business trends and the stress on quality control, Traffo Electronics adopted ISO 9002

Quality Assurance Programme in the year 2000. In the year 2001, we were already registered with Armament Research & Development Establishment, a Government of India undertaking, as the approved manufacturer and supplier of transformers.

Our registration with Indian Railways through Research Design & Standards Organisation of the Govt of India was accomplished. Later, Tata Engineering & Locomotive Co., Pune was added to the list of our esteemed clients. Positive response from our valued customers encouraged us to go for an expansion in 2006 equipping ourselves with latest machinery, equipment and testing facility.

Today, Traffo Electronics can boast of an excellent work-force of motivated people, trained in-house and adept at handling the allotted task. This is due to its firm belief in investment in human resources, in line with technological advancement. Traffo Electronics has endeared itself to some of the highly reputed corporates and institutions in India, because of its accent on quality and on-time delivery. During the last 8 years about 0.6 million of our transformers have been used in power supplies exported to U.K by our customer.
