This SSI unit was founded by Mr. B. L. Mengade in the year 1989 to manufacture various types of Transformers and Coils in order to meet the requirements of Electronics Industry in Pune. With initial thrust and dedicated quality work, Traffo Electronics entered into regular supplies to the UPS manufacturers in Pune. In the year 1994, Traffo Electronics was recognised as a "Small Scale Industrial Unit".

Turnover in 2008-09 was Rs 30 million.

Three-fold expansion plans  to take our sales turnover to Rs. 150 million by 2012-13.

Further diversification into high-power arena including distribution transformers.
